Edam. This
website is a continuation of our shop. Here you will
find information about our speciality shop and about the
assortment of cheeses and wines which are available at our
shop in Edam. Our
Wine & Cheese Speciality Shop is located at the
'Spui' street in the world famous cheese city of Edam.
The shop is located in a monumental 16th century
building. From 1947 the building is a speciality shop
and from 1990 Bessel van Veen (who has a real passion
for cheese and wine) is the shop manager. Wine
& Cheese Speciality Shop Edam is part of the Henri
Willig Cheese company which means that most of our
cheeses are coming from our own production. Next to our
own made cow, goat and sheep cheeses we have a wide
variety of young and old cheeses from the "Beemster"
and a wide variety biological and non-Dutch cheeses. Next
to our cheeses we also have a large assortment of
quality wines from the best wine houses. |
